Fenerbahçe goalkeeper Dominik Livakovic has been transferred to Barcelona for 2 million euros. Italian media sources state that the agreement includes a 2 million euro guaranteed fee and bonuses that could reach 2 million euros. The 31-year-old goalkeeper will play on loan in the 2026/27 season and become a permanent squad member in June 2027. Fabrizio Romano reported that the transfer is finalized and the agreement was reached for a 2 million euro transfer fee. If all bonus conditions are met, the total cost will reach 4 million euros.
Livakovic was transferred to Fenerbahçe from Dinamo Zagreb for 6.65 million euros in the summer of 2023. The goalkeeper, who conceded 80 goals in 74 matches with the club, kept 24 clean sheets. With a market value of 4 million euros, the goalkeeper will play as a backup in Barcelona’s goalkeeper rotation.
Barcelona’s interest is linked to another transfer in Fenerbahçe’s history. Rüştü Reçber, who joined Barcelona in 2003 after leaving Fenerbahçe, is connected to Livakovic’s transfer, adding historical context to the deal.
