Fenerbahçe SK have announced that 13 of their players have received call-ups to their respective national teams. The club shared the news via its official Twitter account.
Five of those called up were selected for the senior Turkey national team. The quintet consists of İsmail Yüksek, Bartuğ Elmaz, İrfan Can Kahveci, Kerem Aktürkoğlu, and Oğuz Aydın.
The other eight players have been summoned by their countries' national teams. Romelu Lukaku, Milan Škriniar, Nathan Aké, Vedat Muriqi, Dorgeles Nene, Kojo Oppong, Yiğit Efe Demir, and Ognjen Mimović will all join up with their international squads.
The call-ups coincide with Fenerbahçe's position in the Süper Lig, where they currently sit sixth. Vedat Muriqi, one of the players called up, is the team's top scorer this season. Muriqi scored four times in the win over Eyüpspor last week.
Following the international break, Fenerbahçe's next league fixture is away to Rizespor.
