Fenerbahçe SK captain Milan Skriniar has revealed he has seen three head coaches and three presidents during his 1.5 years at the club. The Slovak defender made the comments while on international duty.
Skriniar said, "Things at Fenerbahçe are always crazy (laughing)..." The team captain pointed to the club's return to the Champions League after 18 years as the standout achievement of this period.
"We managed to qualify for the Champions League after 18 years, which is a fantastic thing. And we want to get past the group stage," said Skriniar, who also identified the Süper Lig title as a clear target. He noted the team did not start the league season as desired but is now approaching the top of the table.
Fenerbahçe SK currently sit 6th in the Süper Lig with 10 points from 6 matches. Their form over the last five games reads two wins, two draws and one defeat. The team's next league fixture is away to 9th-placed Rizespor on 10 October 2026.
Skriniar added that the quality of the Turkish Süper Lig is very high, with the best players and coaches from Europe now playing there. He stressed the atmosphere within the squad is good and that the team is focused on its seasonal objectives.
